This five-day private journey pairs two of Tanzania’s greatest wildlife landscapes with carefully selected lodges and tented camps. Begin high above the ancient Ngorongoro Crater before continuing into the Serengeti for three nights surrounded by open plains.

DAY 01 / NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS - LEAVE THE CITY. FIND THE EDGE.
Meet your private Wildpack guide in Arusha and begin the journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.
There is no need to rush directly into a game drive. Today is about transitioning into safari at a gentler pace.
Travel through the landscapes of northern Tanzania before climbing into the greener, cooler highlands surrounding Ngorongoro.
Arrive at your lodge with time to settle in, enjoy the surroundings and watch the afternoon light change across the landscape.
Depending on your chosen property and arrival time, spend the evening over sundowners before dinner.
Tomorrow morning, you’ll descend into the crater.

DAY 02 / NGORONGORO CRATER - BREAKFAST ABOVE. WILDERNESS BELOW.
Start early and descend approximately 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater.
Within its ancient volcanic walls lies an extraordinary concentration of wildlife.
Spend the morning exploring open grasslands, woodland and wetlands in search of lions, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas. The endangered black rhino is also present here, although every sighting remains a privilege rather than a promise.
Enjoy a beautifully prepared picnic lunch in the crater before continuing your game drive.
Later, climb back toward the rim and return to your lodge.
A hot shower, a good glass of something cold and the highlands at sunset await.

DAY 03 / SERENGETI TRADE THE ROAD FOR THE SKY.
After breakfast, transfer to the appropriate airstrip for a scheduled bush flight into the Serengeti.
From above, northern Tanzania rearranges itself into forests, plains, rivers and enormous empty spaces.
Land in the Serengeti and meet your safari vehicle for an immediate game drive en route to camp.
Spend the afternoon searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs and leopards while slowly making your way through the plains.
Arrive at your luxury tented camp with time to settle in before dinner.

DAY 04 / SERENGETI - THE WHOLE DAY BELONGS TO THE WILD.
Wake to the sounds of the Serengeti and head out while the plains are still cool.
With your private vehicle, the day is yours to shape.
Follow a pride of lions if they’re moving. Wait beneath an acacia for a leopard to descend. Spend forty minutes watching elephants if forty minutes suddenly feels too short.
Depending on the season, your guide may also explore areas where the Great Migration is moving through the ecosystem.
Choose a picnic lunch in the wilderness or return to camp for a relaxed meal and afternoon pause before heading out again.
Finish with a sundowner as the light drops across the plains.

DAY 05 / SERENGETI → ARUSHA - ONE LAST BEAUTIFUL MORNING.
Wake early for coffee and your final morning in the Serengeti.
Depending on your flight schedule, head out for a short game drive or simply enjoy a slower breakfast overlooking the wilderness.
Transfer to the airstrip and board your scheduled bush flight back to Arusha.
From the aircraft window, watch the plains slowly disappear beneath you.
On arrival, transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
Five days.
