This journey skips the long overland transfer and flies you directly from Arusha into the Serengeti, putting the plains beneath your feet within hours of departure.
Three nights give you two complete days plus arrival and departure game drives to explore one of Africa’s greatest wildlife landscapes.
Your camp is selected according to season, availability and the wildlife experience you’re looking for, while game drives take you through lion country, across cheetah plains and into the habitats of elephants, giraffes, leopards and immense grazing herds.

DAY 01 / ARUSHA → SERENGETI - TAKE OFF. LAND WILD.
Your safari begins at Arusha Airport.
Board a scheduled light aircraft and leave the city behind as northern Tanzania unfolds beneath you.
Mountains.
Crater highlands.
Empty plains.
Then the Serengeti.
Land at a bush airstrip where your safari guide will be waiting.
There is no hotel transfer in the traditional sense.
Your transfer is already a game drive.
Begin exploring immediately as you make your way toward camp, looking for lions, giraffes, elephants, zebra, wildebeest and whatever else decides to appear along the route.
Arrive at your tented camp later in the afternoon.

DAY 02 / SERENGETI - WAKE UP INSIDE IT.
There is a particular advantage to sleeping in the Serengeti.
You’re already there when the day begins.
Head out early while the plains are cool and predators may still be active.
Explore rocky kopjes where lions rest, open grasslands favoured by cheetahs and riverine woodland where leopards can disappear remarkably well for animals covered in spots.
Depending on the season, your guide may also position the day around the movement of wildebeest and zebra.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness or return to camp for a midday break.
Then head back out.
No long transfer tomorrow.
So there is no reason to stop early today.

DAY 03 / SERENGETI - ANOTHER DAY. A DIFFERENT WILD.
Yesterday doesn’t repeat itself here.
Head out again with your guide and explore according to current wildlife activity.
Perhaps a pride of lions has moved overnight.
Perhaps elephants have appeared near camp.
Perhaps the migration has shifted.
Perhaps a leopard decides that today’s itinerary belongs entirely to it.
You can also begin before sunrise with an optional hot-air balloon safari, floating above the plains before returning to the ground for breakfast.
Spend your final full day exactly where you came to be.
In the Serengeti.

DAY 04 / SERENGETI → ARUSHA - ONE LAST DRIVE. THEN THE SKY.
Wake early for your final morning on the plains.
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy breakfast at camp followed by a game drive toward the airstrip.
There is still time for one more lion.
One more elephant.
One more completely unnecessary photograph of a giraffe against the horizon.
Then board your scheduled bush flight back to Arusha.
The Serengeti disappears beneath the wing almost as quickly as it appeared four days ago.
